Our workshops are designed for children aged 6–12 years. Activities are carefully planned to be engaging, appropriately challenging and lots of fun for this age group. Each workshop will have a recommended age group.

Each workshop lasts 90 minutes, giving children plenty of time to explore, create, experiment and complete their project without feeling rushed.

No. Our workshops are drop-off sessions, so parents are free to enjoy some time to themselves while the children are busy creating. Whether you fancy a coffee at the library café, a browse around The Broadway Shopping Centre, or simply some quiet time, we'll keep your child happily engaged until collection.

Please dress children in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. While we use washable materials wherever possible, creativity can sometimes be colourful!

We don't provide snacks during our 90-minute workshops. Please ensure your child has eaten beforehand and brings a named water bottle.

Whilst we provide most materials, we do ask that children bring along certain recycled materials depending on the workshop they are attending.

Absolutely, as long as each child has a booked place and falls within the recommended age range. This helps us ensure everyone can fully participate in the activities.

Yes! Every child leaves with something they've designed, built or created, along with plenty of happy memories and new ideas to explore at home.

All workshops are led by Sherilee, founder of The Creativity Lab. With a passion for creativity, STEM and hands-on learning, she creates a warm, encouraging environment where children feel confident to explore, experiment and discover through making.
