Engineering & Art Recommended Ages 8–12 Can a robot become an artist? In this workshop we'll build a wobbly drawing robot that creates colourful patterns all by itself! LET'S WONDER How can a motor make a robot draw? Why does every Scribble Bot create different patterns? What happens if we change certain parts? LET'S CREATE We'll build our own Scribble Bot using simple components before giving it plenty of personality. LET'S TEST We'll switch on our robots and watch them dance, wobble and create surprising works of art. LET'S EXPLORE We'll discover: How vibration creates movement. How balance changes the patterns. How tiny design changes affect the artwork. Why engineers often improve their designs many times. LET'S REFLECT We'll compare our robots, celebrate their unique personalities and take home both our Scribble Bot and its artwork.
