Workshop Description

Problem Solving, Engineering & Design Recommended Ages 6–12 Ready to become an engineer? Together we'll design, build and test an incredible marble run full of twists, turns and exciting challenges. LET'S WONDER How can we make a marble travel further? What happens if the ramp is steeper? Can we slow the marble down without stopping it? LET'S CREATE Using cardboard, tubes and recycled materials, we'll build our own marble run packed with exciting obstacles. LET'S TEST We'll roll, adjust, rebuild and improve our designs until our marble travels exactly how we want it to. LET'S EXPLORE We'll investigate Gravity, Speed, Friction, Slopes, Cause and effect. LET'S REFLECT We'll compare our designs and discover how every engineer improves through testing.
